Models that I made last weekend

Spirit of St. Louis

 

 

Here are two models I made after I got done with the ones I did for the museum.

The plane is the same type and scale as the C-47 I made for the museum, 

It is a RD4-SL Polar Explorer. It was the first aircraft to land on the South Pole on October 31st 1956.

The helicopter is the Bell UH-1 Huey. It was used mainly during the Viet Nam war.

Was asked to build model of the glider that was used in WW2 for the local museum. 

They trained pilots here in Aberdeen, SD. 

I built the glider and the tow plane.
